  • Product comment - Loved it! Always wanted to tour Majorca by bike and this didn’t disappoint. Nice mixture of coastal resorts and sleepy Majorcan villages. Sensational scenery throughout and even the one, wet day didn’t dampen our spirits. Looking forward to trying the Menorca route next year.
  • Flexitreks response - We're so glad you enjoyed your experience Sarah and thanks for the lovely review. We look forward to hearing from you when you're ready to discuss your Menorca trip.

  • Service comment - The pre tour discussions and information were not an accurate reflection of the true nature of the cycling part of the tour

  • Product comment - See #1. We would not purchase this tour again. The bikes and bike service was good. The hotels-especially Randa and Pollenca-were great. The cue sheets did not start from our first hotel and so were not at all useful for the first two days. The maps had no route numbers on them and thus were not at all useful. For truth in advertising you should include the elevation scales for each day so riders can decide for themselves if it is an "easycycling holiday". There should also be some mention about the fact that portions of the ride require riding on narrow two lane roads with sections with no shoulder and cars passing at times at high speed.
  • Flexitreks response - Thank you for the feedback Anne. We were a bit surprised by this as comments from previous customers regarding the route have been very positive. However, in light of your feedback we have amended our route description slightly to make it clear that the route does include hills as well some cycling on busier roads.

    Questions answered thoroughly.

  • Product comment - Excellent hotels which exceeded expectations. Thorough, easy to read road book meant route navigation was no problem. Good safe roads through out. This was our first time at this type of holiday and we'll do it again.
Only negative was our choice of bike. We chose the city bike which was great on the flat but a struggle on the hills into inland villages.
Dare I say that I would choose an E bike next time?
Also, Campos as a start point is a little uninspiring for the beginning of a holiday. I would have thought there would be some more interesting alternatives. A start point on the coast would be nice.
  • Flexitreks response - Thanks for the constructive comments Mark. E-bikes are becoming ever more popular on these holidays and the technology has really come on in leaps and bounds in recent years. Happy to chat through options prior to your next trip if you like? Your comments regarding Campos are noted and we are investigating possible alternatives for next year.

  • Product comment - A wonderful experience from start to finish! Quality accommodation and evening meals; good-quality, well-equipped bikes (very grateful for the mud guards on the one rainy day!); clear route instructions, making good use of the excellent cycling network in Mallorca, mainly along quiet, rural roads through beautiful countryside; plenty of refreshment stops en route (very important!). We received a warm welcome from everyone we met along the way (taxi driver on arrival, bike mechanic, hotel staff). Happy memories of orange blossom, bird song, windmills, sheep, goats, pigs (not to mention a snake and an ostrich!), mountain views, blue sky and beautiful turquoise sea. Our first trip to Mallorca - hopefully not our last :0)
  • Flexitreks response - Many thanks for the great review Nicola and the lovely photos of your Majorquian cycling holiday. We agree that this holiday offers scenic rural cycling at its absolute best.

  • Service comment - Had excellent response for a last minute reservation. People were available by phone when we had questions. E-mail response was immediate. Flexitreks found a replacement hotel when one of the regular hotels was full - so we were able to get the dates we desired for the trip.

  • Product comment - A few of the directions were wrong - wrong way turn or wrong mileage. We checked against Google maps each day before biking so we could fill in missing street names. Hotels were great. Bike rental was great. Route was great.
  • Flexitreks response - Thanks for the positive feedback and sorry to hear some of the directions were wrong. Our local supplier checks them regularly but if you could get in touch and let us know where he problems were exactly then we can look into this and get them corrected.
