Step aboard the barge and settle into your cabin. Time allowing we highly recommend a stroll through the cobbled streets of the medieval town. In the early evening we enjoy a short bike ride along the river Loing to the barge village of Saint Mammès at the confluence of the Loing and Seine Rivers.

  • Product comment - great trip, lovely company, i would have liked to visit Versaille rather than have a free day in Paris. Last days cycling lacked purpose as we did not reach Compeigne before palace shut.
  • Flexitreks response - Many thanks for this comprehensive review. We are glad you enjoyed the experience overall but take your point about the last day to Compeigne and are consulting with the local supplier as to how this can be improved.
