Company Founders
Co-founders Andrew Harmer and Allyson Harmer have both enjoyed long and successful careers in the travel industry learning their trades with some of the biggest names in travel. Andrew worked for Thomas Cook’s active holiday division for 18 years rising to the position of Head of Product and Planning. While Allyson has over 26 years’ experience in product development for specialist operators. The skills and travel know-how gained with these mainstream operators, combined with their specialist knowledge of cycling holidays and friendly service-oriented approach, make Flexitreks the natural choice for a leisure cycling holiday in Europe.
Co-founders Andrew & Allyson Harmer
When time allows, Andrew and Allyson love cycling in the beautiful South Downs near their home in Hove on the Sussex Coast. Andrew likes to challenge himself by entering the odd cycle race every now and then whereas Allyson is firmly leisure cycling only, preferring routes without too many hills and, if possible, no headwind! They have both travelled extensively in Europe and the Flexitreks product range reflects the regions they consider to be Europe’s ultimate leisure cycling destinations.
