Our easy cycling holidays can be enjoyed by just about anyone who can ride a bicycle but are particularly suitable for beginners, families and cyclists who prefer shorter rides without hills. These routes are about having the time to enjoy the scenery and local culture whilst enjoying a bit of light exercise. In most cases the daily rides can be completed in around 2 to 3 hours
Our easy cycling holiday routes follow level terrain, often along dedicated cycle paths and quiet lanes. If you don't cycle regularly and are considering a cycling holiday then these routes are the perfect choice.
On an easy cycling holiday you will receive your rental bikes and clear route notes at your first hotel. The next morning you leave your luggage in reception and set out on your first ride. Navigation is easy as your route will all be available on a free-to-use smartphone app. Your real-time position on the route is clearly shown at all times on your phone screen.
While you are riding, our local team transfer your luggage to your next hotel so it is waiting for you when you arrive.
You can cycle at whatever pace suits you, there's no rush and plenty of time to stop for a break or a wander round.
On an easy cycling holiday you'll be covering around 30 km per day. The route will generally be level with plenty of places of interest to stop along the way.
Besides regular bikes, e-bikes are an option on all of our easy cycling holidays and give extra peace of mind to customers concerned about whether or not a tour might be slightly too challenging for them. Electric bikes do not offer a completely free ride but allow the rider to engage a little battery-powered assistance as and when the need arises.

The Adige River cycle path has to be one of the most enjoyable and scenic leisure-cycling routes in Europe.
